The History, of Ved Mata
Gayatri Dham Rajkot India

Shri
Niranjan Atmayogiji, the pioneer and the founder
of Ved Mata Gayatri Dham Temple was
the first Person to have thought about this. Many such mission
are operating in the city of Rajkot, but Shri
Niranjan Atmayogiji had desire of starting something
new, difference oriented. It took place in 1979
January.

Purchase of Land:
The holy
decision to purchase land for Vedmata Gayatridham was on 22/6/1980
Sunday on the day of Maa Gayatri's Birthday.

On
the day of 21/6/1980 Saturday, a 2-1/2 feet of Mata Gayatri
idol was installed along with eternal frame by the founder
Shri Niranjan Atmayogiji on
22/6/1980. The principal of
which were Shri Jaykrishnabhai Dave, gave this honorable
services. |
The Devi
Bhagvat week was organized in Rajkot in Shastri maidan
Dom from 13/11/1980 to 21/11/1980
in the interest of Shri V.G. Dham. |
Dwarka
Sharda pith, Head Shankracharya
Shri Abhinav Sachhidanand Tirth Swami were present
and blessed in the presence of Shri
Bhagvati Keshav Bhavani (Nadiad) who did Bhoomi
Poojan and Flag-Ceremony
at 9 o'clock on 21/11/1980.

The special
Guest Dr. Narayandutt Shrimali (Jodhpur)
Rajsthan specially blessed the 108
Kundi Gayatri maha yagna on 7,
8 and 9
of May, 1982. This was organized in the interest
of Shri Gayatridham Rajkot. He blessed good progress of this Gayatri Dham Temple Rajkot India.

Shri
Ganesh-Gayatri 108 kundi Shri Bijyukta Gayatri Mahayagna
was organized in the interest of Shri Vedmata Gayatridham on the
ground of August-Kranti Maindan, Chopati (MUMBAI). Shri
Purushottamdas Jalota remained present with family and then
Shri Narayandut Shrimali gave
good lectures which pleased the audience.

The construction
of building of Shree Ved Mata Gayatri Dham was started on 12/12/1984
and Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh temple
came into existence. Indian Devotees & Gayatri Upasak from abroad has Donated required meterials and money with open heart for temple building.

On the
date 26-7-1987 onwards in
the interest of Shri Vedmata Gayatridham, in the month of pious
Shravan month, Shri Shivmahapuran Gnan Yagna Saptah was
organized, where Shri Madhusudan Shastriji was on the Vyas
Pith. |
On the
date 8/3/1995 being Wednesday
in the complex of Shri Vedmata Gayatri Dham, Pran-pratishtha mahotsav
of world Maa Amba was organized by the hands of Shrimati
Harjitben Shukla and Shri
Ambrishbhai (London). |
The stone
laying ceremony (Pran-pratishtha mahotsav) was organized for Shri Vedmata Gayatri Dham on Maha - Sud
- 9 Sunday, dated 4/2/1990 by a leading citizen Shri
Rasikbhai Golwala and his wife. This temple admeasures
to 81 x 90 square feet in
size and every foundation stone has man-scripts of Gayatri
Mantra of Maa Gayatri Books which have been dedicated after proper
Puja.

On 2nd
June, 1990 on the Gayatri
Jayanti, the ground floor hall was inaugurated and
Maa's Idol (Murti Prathistha of Maa Gayatri) was honorably installed.
